All five models share HDMI + VGA output, ONVIF / GB28181 protocols, the free Seetong P2P app and AI detection (face, license plate, humanoid, vehicle). 10 / 16 / 32-channel units carry one gigabit LAN plus one 10/100 LAN; 49 and 64-channel units carry two gigabit LAN. Resolution follows the connected cameras; an NVR is not rated in megapixels. Hard disks are quoted separately.

H.265+ codec

Dual Ethernet

Questions Buyers Ask
How many cameras can I connect to this NVR?
64 channels at once. That means 64 cameras recording simultaneously, or fewer cameras at higher bitrates. For sites that need more, multiple 64-channel units can be deployed per building and aggregated in the app.
Can it record cameras from different brands?
Yes. The recorder speaks ONVIF, so any ONVIF camera from any brand connects — including mixed fleets of bullet, dome and PTZ units. This is the main reason integrators choose it over brand-locked recorders.
What about an HVR (hybrid video recorder)?
An HVR records both IP and analog cameras on one box — useful when migrating an existing coax site to IP gradually. If your site is all-IP, a pure NVR is simpler; if you are mid-migration with mixed coax and Ethernet, an HVR bridges both worlds.
How long will 8 SATA bays hold recordings?
At 64 cameras × 4MP H.265+ (roughly 43 GB/day per camera), 8 × 18TB drives (144TB raw) hold about 50 days of continuous recording. With motion-only recording that extends to roughly 100-150 days. Hard disks are quoted separately — size the drive set per project.
Does remote viewing require a subscription or port forwarding?
No. The free P2P app connects through the vendor relay — no port forwarding, no static IP, no DDNS, no monthly fee. Live view and playback work anywhere on iOS, Android or Windows.
What is the dual Ethernet for?
Two modes: network fault tolerance (if one link fails, recording continues on the other — zero downtime) and port aggregation (doubles throughput for high-bitrate 4K fleets). This is the reliability feature that matters most for 24/7 commercial duty.
